Square Base:
NOT just the basic square piece of paper. This is actually the "Crane base" from my Crane example, which can be found here under Inspiration http://clearorigamiinstructions.blogspot.com/p/purpose.html
Step 1: Have the color that you want your origami to be face downwards. So the color that's facing you will be on the inside of your origami. |
Step 2a: Line up two corners together. |
Step 2b: This is the result. |
Step 3: Take the two side corners and line them up with each other. |
Step 4: This is the result where you have a smaller triangle. |
Here I just flipped it 90 degrees and changed my picture taking angle haha. |
Step 5: Take one flap and open it so it looks like this. |

Step 6: Flatten the flap so the corners match. Then crease the sides. |

Step 7: This is the result. |

Step 8: Flip over. |

Step 9: Repeat steps 5-6 on this flap now. |

Step 10: Once the sides are creased you've made the Square Base! A winner is you! This is one of the many origami bases. This is the most basic of them all in my opinion. |
